Unbelievable PRs - improvements by 6 minutes (Bettina, Francesco) and even 11 minutes (Margaret) !
The printout with the results was blown away after the race, but thank goodness the timers were able to find it in the bushes.

Despite tiredness after last weekend's (half)marathon, despite the news of the possible cancellation of the IAG 2010 and unimpressed by the ashes of Eyjafjallaj_kull, 29 runners participated in this time trial.
Again more PRs even by those who ran on the weekend, and at the top: 4 runners again under 36 minutes.
_ and one week after the last winter race we had today perfect spring conditions at 15 degrees.
Message to Matthew Murray: Your American cousin Jesse comes closer - only 23 seconds between your VIC Record and his PR ! And three more impressive PRs by Maxime, Petar (by more than 4 minutes) and Anousha (by more than 7 minutes).
The first real spring race (+ 15 degrees) with improvements of PRs in the range from 1 second to more than 4 minutes. Congratulations !
Enough time for the participants for warming up, since one of the timers was too late - sorry. The VICRunners were pleased to see Tom Dolan participate again on the occasion of a consultants meeting he is attending in Vienna. This run was decided in a very close finish and certainly we will see more tough competitions like this in future.
Keeping a minute of silence before the start, the VICRunners remembered their friend Pam EDMINSTER who passed away on 23 April after a short illness.
Some remarkable results again in today's 10k qualification run: Rene's PR brings him to no. 15 in the top 100, Shin is now no. 60; Wilma improved her PR although the train tried to sabotage this, and Shubha improved hers by more than 3 minutes ! Congratulations to all participants, newcomers and backcomers ! Andrea Sch_rk was there to run, but her cute baby-son Lenny protested and made her help with the timing instead.
Many PRs in today's perfect running weather - the VICRunners are already in good shape for marathon, VIC Games and IAG !
The first qualification run (10k) was held today and there were even PRs on this cold and windy day ! Anil finished this run after having done his 113th marathon last Sunday - amazing !
