February Time Trial (10k No. 221)

The heroes of this 10k run: the timers who were suffering in the cold rain while all others were having fun. Thank you, guys ! Antibiotics are on the club if necessary.
Comeback: John is in better shape today than he was in 1996 when he ran with us the last time finishing only 1 lap.
Farewell: Wolfgang has accepted an assignment in Madrid and ran his last 10k with us for some time. All the best, Wolfgang !

4th VIC Games 10k (No. 218)

High temperature, high humidity: some runners almost collapsed in the third lap, others ran a PR.
Poor Gerald stepped on a pine cone and twisted his ankle but a silver medal will console him maybe - all the best !
All teams showed big enthusiasm and good spirit. Pictures from this event (thank you, Bob and John) will soon be on the net.

February Time Trial (10k No. 215)

Yesterday's course inspection did not reveal any problems, but overnight rain and snow turned the dry corners into pools. Nevertheless, eight runners were not turned away by the wet conditions.
Christina set up a PR improving her record from almost 14 years ago by more than 6 minutes - this brings her to rank 21 in the top 100. Congratulations !

3rd VIC Games 10k (No. 212)

Our timers Norbert and Stefan managed without any problems to keep track of 37 runners in yesterday's 10k, the second part of the VIC Games 2005.
Double victory for CTBTO ladies and men, twice silver for the IAEA, bronze for UNIDO/UNODC and IAEA/UNIDO 1. Details at the bottom.
Paced by two friends, Beate improved with a time of 40:00 the 18 years old VIC record !
