10k

Another thrilling race in our beloved Park. Many of us are already in good shape and pushed hard and kept the pace high. Congratulations to 9 owners of new PRs !
Pls. note:The timers will usually gladly grant _early starts_ to the ones who feel to run on a very slow pace in order not to having to wait too long until everyone_s seen the chequered flag; but please let_s try to keep it to a minimum .

Jesse Murray missed Matt Murray's VIC Record by 3 seconds !!! Almost, Jesse !

This was the 251st VICRunners 10k time trial which means:
WE HAVE FORGOTTEN TO CELEBRATE THE 250TH VICRUNNERS 10K TIME TRIAL 3 WEEKS AGO !!! :o((And: The first 10k took place almost exactly 30 years ago - 20 March 1982 - with 13 participants. Since then we had more than 1000 individuals taking part in our events (not counting the children), and the enthusiasm is bigger than ever. Thank you all for your dedication !

Only PR by Mayra improving by more than 2 minutes, while Pierrick missed his by 6 seconds.
After a break of almost 8 years Norbert finished another 10k.

Spring is just around the corner, but where is the corner ? Despite 0 degrees, four runners nevertheless set up new PRs - congratulations !

On this pleasant almost-spring day in February we had 37 participants, and eight of them did their first 10k with us today.
Improvement or new entries in the Ladies Top 100 for Erin, Margaret, Carrie and Kathy !
Maxime Francois could not join us for a last run due to an injury, but we wish him all the best in his new assignment in Geneve.
