Anne took part the last time as active staff member, but we are looking forward to seeing her often in Donaupark as a retiree (not feeding pigeons but running with us of course).

Christina and Nada were paced to new PRs by Jalil and Allan while Julia was in the middle of a strong male group. Congratulations to all three of them !
1st IAG Qualification Run (10k No. 222)
The season is still young, but some VICRunners were already fit enough for good performances and PRs.
For all those newcomers who lost their way in Donaupark today we will make a guided course tour before the next 10k run.
Mar Time Trial (5k No. 9)
A lot of PRs in the relatively young discipline of 5km runs which will all reflect in the top 100 list of course (is this already the effect of Matthew's special training ?).
Good to see Gerald back in the results list after his "pine cone incident" last June.
Agathe has been added at the end of the list. As a newcomer she did not find the start but joined the race at a later point of time.
February Time Trial (10k No. 221)
The heroes of this 10k run: the timers who were suffering in the cold rain while all others were having fun. Thank you, guys ! Antibiotics are on the club if necessary.
Comeback: John is in better shape today than he was in 1996 when he ran with us the last time finishing only 1 lap.
Farewell: Wolfgang has accepted an assignment in Madrid and ran his last 10k with us for some time. All the best, Wolfgang !
Jan Time Trial (5k No. 8)
Before the announced storm "Kyrill" hits Vienna this evening, the VICRunners could still do the scheduled 5k time trial in Donaupark.
This was a farewell run for Andreas who is going to leave CTBTO at the end of this month. He will still join us for our triathlons as his new assignment will be at a Viennese bank.
Lots of timers today, but it was necessary: the equipment failed and the recording had to be done manually.
Dec Time Trial (5k No. 7)
Jalil seems to be in shape for this year's Sylvesterlauf on Ringstrasse. Christina jumps to no. 3 in the 5k top 100, Virginie misses no. 4 by 1 second.
13th Donaupark Handicap Run (10k No. 220)
As the rules say, everyone started at different times according to their best time last year and of course all those who improved their records thus staying under a total time of 85:00 are found on the top of the list. The times of the first lap are not always reliable as the timers could not be at the start and at the finish at the same time. Retiree Kuno Bittner - an active decathlet - joined us once more to train for his 1500m run in the next decathlon event. All the best to Anne Meehan who had an injury in the first lap.
